SNOW!

It has been snowing in Washington most of this week. We have around 6 inches of snow at our home in Rochester.
This is our new fire pit... don't think we'll be using it for awhile.Yoda likes to play in the snow for about 1 minute, then he gets cold and wants to go back inside.

Cruise to Mexico!

This is our boat, 'The Norwegian Star'...
While we were in Cabo San Lucas, we went Parasailing! Definately a highlight! The boat was decorated for Christmas, so we decided to take some pictures one evening before dinner.
More to come later once we have sorted through all the pictures. We are home, doing lots of laundry and hanging out with Yoda!

Organ Anyone???

My Grandma has an organ that she no longer has room for, if you know of anyone that would be interested, please contact me. It is currently sitting in my shop until we can find a new home for it.

Moving...

We got Grandma moved! She is all settled in her new apartment, and so far is happy with how it looks and everything she has. Hopefully she will begin to make some new friends where she is at. I'll try to post some pictures of her new apartment later this week.

Alabama!

This week I had the opportunity to go to Tuscaloosa, AL for work. I spent 3 days working in the Reform, AL office along with someone else from my office. At the end of the week Cindy drove up from New Orleans with Andrew & Nicholas. We had a great time swimming in the pool at the hotel and watching a movie. Thanks for coming up to see me! It was fun to see you guys!

Hydrangeas!

It's a little hard to see these, but there are 2 Hyndrangea plants in this bed. These are orginally from Chad & Cindy's wedding 10 years ago. They were planted at Mom & Dad's house in Edmonds for about 8 years, then when they sold there house we moved them to our front yard in Kent. Last summer Mom & I moved them to her front yard in Rochester. Hopefully they will like their new home on Hunter Loop!

Our First Outdoor Spring Project

We dug up some grass in front of our house to make room for our Japenese Maple tree. The maple tree was one from Mom & Dad's house in Edmonds that we moved to our house in Kent and then moved it again to their house in Centralia for the last 6 months. Hopefully this is the last time we have to move that poor tree!

Friends!

These are some pots that were painted by a really good friend of mine. Emily gave me these as gifts over the years. Until recently I didn't really have a good place to put them. In our new house, we have realy wide window sills, and I thought they would be perfect for these pots with some flowers. So, thanks Em for these great pots! I think of you each day when I see them!

SNOW!!!

We woke up to snow this morning in Rochester. Everything is covered in a blanket of white but the sun is shining. It's really pretty!
