Black River Rises

This place is right next to the Black River. Today I would consider it in the Black River.

Jarrod's New Tractor

Jarrod and my dad bought a tractor a few weeks ago. Jarrod used it this weekend to fill in the ditch between the garage and our shop. It was kinda fun to watch.

Yoda got to 'drive'... he didn't like that so much.

Camping... in October!!

Last weekend we went on what was becoming our annual hike/camping trip to a small lake down by Mt. St. Helens. It started out with decent weather, a little cold but still clear and nice. After a really cool hike in, where we saw lots of elk, it started raining. It kept raining, and the wind was blowing so hard I thought our tent was going to blow away. So we let the dogs sleep in the tent with us. This is Angel snuggling with Jarrod, what you can't see is that Noel is IN the sleeping bag with Jarrod. It was an interesting night! We were very glad to get home. I am not doing that hike again unless it is in July.

In a Bucket Truck!

On Wednesday I had the opportunity to go to Moses Lake for work. I drove with 3 other women from my office to our company office in Moses Lake. While we were there I got to go up in a bucket truck! I was about 30 feet in the air. Definately one of the cooler things that I have done.
